Éric Taillon
President and CEO

Passionate who walks the walk
Éric founded ACT actuaries in 1999 after several years as a professional in group insurance and pension plans.
Associate of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, he quickly realized that optimizing numbers depends above all on the health and well-being of organizations. A rigorous advisor and entrepreneur who listens to his clients' needs, he has developed over the years a unique business model and solutions based on physical, mental, social, and financial health.
Although known as a tireless worker, Eric is above all a bon vivant who can often be found with family and friends at a good restaurant, on the golf course, or at the Bell Centre!
Karoline Laroche
Vice President, Group Insurance

Exemplary discipline and a contagious laugh

Julien Gagnon
Vice-president, occupational health and safety

An epic epicurean, from cooking to OHS
Julien has been helping organizations make sense of their occupational health and safety financial and legal challenges since 1996. And every day, he turns numbers into concrete decisions.
Julien is a leading authority on OHS financing in Quebec. He co-authored the Practical Guide to Financing the Workers’ Compensation Plan before joining ACT in 2018 to work closer with companies and their teams.
When he’s not crunching the numbers, he enjoys cooking, the outdoors and seeking thrills.
