Job description
Reporting to the vice-president, Group Insurance, the job holder will act as a group insurance customer service representative, working in collaboration with the firm's other advisors and actuaries.
Role and responsibilities
- Customer support, by answering questions from administrators regarding the general management of their plan, intervening on their behalf with insurers and handling certain claims (medical, dental, travel, decease or disability) ;
- General support for our team of advisors and actuaries ;
- Customer training on insurers' e-services ;
- Taking charge of certain enforcement work or transfer of contracts with insurers and other service providers ;
- Participation in certain information meetings for our customers' employees ;
- Validation of insurers' contractual documents and production of customer summaries ;
- Revision of customer communications ;
- Maintain up-to-date general knowledge of the products and services of insurers and other service providers.
Requirements
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in financial services and insurance or in a relevant discipline ;
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a group insurance customer service representative ;
- AMF certificate in group insurance (an asset) ;
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite ;
- Bilingualism, French and English (an asset).
