Job description

Reporting to the Director and senior consultant of the ACT OHS Division, the CNESST claims management advisor will play an important role with the firm's clients.  This position offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement within a dynamic, growing company that encourages continuous development.

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage workers' compensation and occupational disease files with customers, including follow-up with all parties involved ;
  • Write various types of correspondence as files evolve, including expert assessment mandates, cost-sharing requests, objections to claims, challenges to decisions ;
  • Act as an advisor for clients to develop the optimal strategies ;
  • Meet with customers on-site if needed for workstation visits ;
  • Prepare trial files in collaboration with the designated prosecutor ;
  • Manage allocated costs in partnership with our team of actuaries ;
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience as a CNESST claims management advisor ;
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or any other university degree relevant to the position ;
  • Good knowledge of Quebec workplace accident laws ;
  • Bilingualism, French and English (an asset).
